A very simple and elegant formula, this is probably one of those perfumes that failed to become the success it could have been because of marketing. To my nose it is probably in the same league as Encre Noir – a characteristic vetiver note but done in an airy herbal way that makes it easily wearable daily. Vetiver for beginners. What makes this one also very interesting is the anisic touch. Beautiful and easy to wear – and again much more intelligent that any of those Bleue or Sauvage type perfumes out there cluttering the masculine section of the drug store.
