I wasn’t sure what to expect here – with all Frederic Malle creations being such refined classics, it is sometimes awe inspiring to meddle with them – I think I didn’t want to mystery to be solved by looking at the formula of this one. But (as you could imagine) I couldn’t resist. I didn’t mix it entirely 1-to-1 but even with the changes I made, this is stupendous: elegant and refined. So much so, that you should not wear it in jeans.
