I’ve waited to write this review for probably about a year. I used to wear Declaration when it came out so many years ago and I am reallly biased as I love this to perfection. So I might be a little overcritical when I say that the formula here is not as close to the original as other formulas here. It is however an excellent study and has a few very interesting ingredients that are not so common to find. The essence of Declaration is there – woody sparkly cold-spice perfume which is an excellent expression of Cartier’s excellent coherence of their perfume line. As such, I find this to be a beautiful, even if not as close to the original as I would hope, both when sprayed on myself, but also as liquid soap and room scent. Don’t hesitate to try and to tweak!
