John Applebloom –
Philosykos came to the market because it introduced for the first time the smell of a fig – in a very abstract way because it is not the flesh of the fruit but the whole milky and green stem, peel, and leaves.
The smell is familiar to all perhaps – what is worth discussing here is the formula. What is absolutely staggering and amazing about this formula is the HUGE chunk of Iso-e-super. The rest is a combination of one or two expected components (like stemone) is what adds the colours to a pain-by-numbers picture. But what iso-e-super contributes to this is that it is what gives the structure – the numbers and the lines which needs to be painted. Without iso-e-super, this is a mess.
A fantastic formula, that is practically identical to original. Beautiful!
