It is one of the top 5 perfumes of all time probably (for me) – it is painfully beautiful so much so that it is probably not something that i can imagine wear daily 🙂 This is one of the most strange irises because it is not particularly floral but rather woody which is due to the huge dose of Vetiver. I keep going back and forth on it and wonder “should the vetiver be reduced” or “should we keep the vetiver” and I still have not decided but whichever thing you prefer, this is a gorgeous formula incredibly accurate and incredibly elegant!

Gorgeous La Pausa–how lovely to look behind the curtain at its construction. Something interesting–Sycomore parfum being released (with what feels like a slug of orris materials in it) made me similarities between it and La Pausa. I really enjoyed being surprised at the vetiver dose in here, but it makes perfect sense when you smell the finished product. I found myself playing around with subbing some of the Irone Alpha for orris butter to see the impacts on the overall vibe of the scent. Well done!
