John Applebloom –
Oh boy – there to begin! Great pity that this was a commercial flop – the bottle was genius to behold, a modernistic work of art to look at, and probably a nightmare to manufacture. The commercial success was probably hampered by the cumin note which is (to say the least) controversial when it comes to mass appeal but would have been ideal in a niche or super exclusive distribution (this fragrance came out at a time before everyone in the perfume world had exclusive and more quirky ranges). I am fortunately one of those who loves a cumin note – be it in Cologne Bigarrade FM or Terre d’H Eau Fraiche or in H. Epices Marine or here. It is like a trip along your lover’s body. Careful when spraying this, boys and girls! A superb formula!!!
