There are many great vetivers out there and I have lately been exploring them (including some older discontinued commercials like the one by Azzaro, Kenzo Air, Guerlain, and others). What really surprised in this formula was the huge doze of vetiver (normally even 15% would be enough to make a perfume a “vetiver” perfume) which is handled here in a special way with relatively cheap ingredients (florals such as hedione, benzyl salicylate, and others) and turned into a salty transparent vetiver – perfectly reminiscent of what inspired Celine Ellena to create it – a water jug with vetiver roots.
