First of all, keep in mind that this is a polarizing perfume. Second, it is an homage by Jean-Claude to Edmond Roudnitska and the original Eau d’Hermes, here done with some more marine notes.
With these two out of the way, I have to say this is one of top 3 Hermessences for me in terms of weird and mesmerizing.
The formula here is superb – comparing to the original it is a little more lemony (which is not bad) but other than that (and you should also feel free to modify the amounts of cumin and cumin aldehyde), it is a superb version. Big surprising in the formula for me but they only make it more interesting! One of the top 5 formulas here!
