I am not familiar with the original (now discontinued) but I have heard that it is similar to the famous Serge Lutens A La Nuit. And it is indeed a fantastic indolic jasmine – pure, intense, simple and yet complex. It is right between transparent and opaque, between jam and juice, between fresh and dead. A relatively simple formula with common components but perhaps that’s what shows the beauty and intensity of this formula. Very, very robust formula.
