Beige has been described by some as a boring floral but perhaps that exactly its strength – a true description of the color beige. The formula here is quite complex to mix but it is with this curious combination that you get something that smells distinctly floral and ‘almost’ fecal – despite the lack of Indol or indolene in the formula. That was a surprise but once again as with all perfume and chemistry topics – surprises are part of the equation (and education).

Beautiful and accurate recreation of this contemporary Chanel exclusif. While there are some sizable doses of certain ingredients, I’m so amazed at how there’s nothing in particular in extreme overdose…it is simply an impeccably blended and carefully constructed abstract floral with some natural touches here and there, but mostly a skillful use of various synthetics. As the review above mentions, there is a unique animal undercurrent here which juxtaposes so nicely against the fresh/clean/bubble bath aspects of the scent. A very well interpreted formula!
