One wouldn’t normally thing of Jean Claude Ellena as someone who would do fruity but his history is long and sometimes, you have to try to do something before you know it is not for you – hence he didn’t do fruity ever since (His Hermes Jardins use fruitiness but are not fruits in their own right – check out the formulas for Nils and Sur Le Toit here – both stupendous formulas). But this is also a deceptively simple fruity because it has a huge base of musk and sandalwood which brings a level of refinement that is suitable for the likes of Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Claude Ellena. 5 stars are well-deserved for this formula.
