John Applebloom –
This is a perfume that is a legend – not only because of what it was when it was launched (a first for a male perfume – based around Iris) but because it also went (like most modern ones) through reformulations and so many flankers that it is hard to keep up.
And while there are other formulae circulating online which are not bad per se, here we have something spectacular – something delicious, smooth as chocolate powder (=texture) without the heavy caloric bomb effect that so many recent perfumes have. This is an elegant powdery masculine which hovers between a fougere and a floral and is bound to confuse even the most macho among us.
The formula is great to try out – and as per Labtorium’s suggestion, try it first before adding the galaxolide 😉
