Dune is a rare breed – something that is almost hard to pin down and categorize. What is particularly odd about is the combination of dry woods sprinkled with the fruity notes of green figs. This is not the green smooth fig of Philosykos, nor the smooth milky fig of Un Jardin Mediteranee. This is a raw green fig that feels like the fig leaf – corse, rough, intensely green and dry like the air. Outstanding!

Excellently done! I have a vintage bottle of the parfum, and, post maturation and maceration, this formula smells so close! I was fascinated by the judicious but important use of costus. The scent was a unique, one of a kind, skin-like floral with a sort of salty-saline aspect. So interesting to see how the all of these notes come together here. Strong use of green mandarine was an intriguing surprise!
