John Applebloom (verified owner) –
In my childhood, this was a perfume my father would buy for my mother on his special trips to France – we couldn’t get it in the country where I grew up. And during those days, I idealized this perfume like so many of us do with our mothers’ perfumes.
Today, smelling it, I can see why I liked it – slightly fruity in a much more elegant way than any of the current trends, slightly chypre with all the elegance but without the menace of the 1970s chypres, and a pale rose that cannot stand next to Nahema but still suggests “summer garden”.
Great!
