Among the various heavy chypres and patchouli bombs out there, this is a rare one that is underappreciated. It is a gorgeous and reminiscent of Aromatix Elixir without the oakmoss. Dark, inky, leathery. This and Givernchy Gentleman share a distant DNA but while Gentleman is all about leather, this is all about the brandy you will drink while wearing it and the monogrammed slippers.
