In Short: if Chanel N5 is too ‘old’ for you, go for N22. In Long: the aldehydes are almost as weird molecules as nitriles, pyrazins and Thiazole – with the advantage that some of them can last all the way to the base. And this is actually exactly the quality of aldehydes that makes N22 such a fantastic perfume. It is a gorgeous musky floral but not because the flowers are recognizable but because they are necessary to bridge the cold icy aldehydes with the smooth clean musks in the base. It is better and more modern than N5 and more suitable for day wear! Fantastic formula!
