John Applebloom –
Admittedly, I had to mix this multiple times partially because the formula is full of naturals that are not easy to source or natural alternatives that may have variations that will simply not ring the right bells when put together.
My latest attempt using ambergris base from PCW resulted finally in something that I can recognize as Mitsouko – a bit more animalic especially at the top (coming very much from the base I think) but the spirit of Mitsouko is there making it one of the several great Chypres that are part of the formula book here (for other great ones check out Ivoire, Climat, and Ma Griffe).
