I have not smell the original but what I do smell here is one of the most incredible green chypres ever. It is not as dark as Bandit but it certainly can rival it. The formula was a big surprise given the high amount of oak moss but this is also one of the charms of this hobby – for personal use I don’t need to worry. And to study these old masterpieces in their original states through these formulae is one of the best lessons one can get. This is not a perfume to wear casually with a any T-shirt, let a lone a white one. But oh boy, it is worth dressing up in black for it every day!
