While I am unfamiliar with the original, this one has the clear DNA of SL – a rich bouquet between roses (but not explicitly recognizable), balsam (so smooth that you forget you are not in an old church), and warm spices and herbs (they transport you to the cabinet of wonders that is the spice-cupboard). The honey and dry-fruit help soften and make the spices fluid. It is surprising that the original SL is priced so high because the ingredient list would not suggest it but that’s why this hobby and this website as so useful.
