While I just made this, so it clearly still needs to mature and then, with alcohol eventually, macerate, this already has proven to be a super faithful recreation of the original. Extremely well-balanced and accurate. Brought back a lot of memories of exploring this line to begin with!

This has been described by many as a weird one – not because of the smell (there are many more weirder things here like Blamage, Cuoium, anything else from these two brands and others) but because of the concept – cold water for winter but at the same time warm honeyed freshness like the almond clouds of heliotropin that make up a big portion of the formula. The magic here is that this seems to be light and fleeting and disappearing but in fact throughout the day I get whiffs of it periodically – it is a technical marvel that is worth exploring with every breath. A note – in several books it is indicated that this contains beeswax abs and hay abs which are not included in the formula at the time of writing this review. I am testing and exchanging with Labtorium how much to add of these so maybe we will revise the formula but as a start already it is a killer!
