John Applebloom (verified owner) –
I am wearing this as I type. The problem with vetiver is that it overpowers every perfume that contains it in more than 15% quantity and turns it into a vetiver-based fragrance. Nothing bad with that – it just means that to leverage it, one needs to be very diligent about the pairing and the direction one wants to twist it in – citrus, transparent, woody, oriental. This is trying to make it a little more transparent and watery without turning it into an Encre Noir. A delicious bitterness that screams elegance.
