Many people compare this to Hermes Poivre Samarcande and to other Jean-Claude Ellena’s minimalist perfumes. But it is different in a few ways – it is much more musky than woody and it is cleaner (no cumin). These are not bad qualities and in fact it is an excellent cologne for late spring and summer including for a more formal evening event. Enjoyable and easy to wear but if you want to make it a bit more interesting, add some cumin 😉
