I am not big on Ouds – far from it – be it the fake ouds or the real ones. But that’s the good thing about this C. – it is not an Oud. It is a modern fougere. And that I love! This is a spicy woody aromatic fougere which starts with a burst of freshness and pepper before it settles into a beautiful combination of woody violets. Beautiful!

While many formulas on this website are very good, this one in particular has zero resemblance to Royal Oud by Creed. As well it smells very bad as a perfume in general, so I would avoid buying this one.

My previous review was based on an old, outdated version of the formula.
Wisemoor gave me the updated formula after realizing this, and it’s a much better formula.
