This is a difficult thing for me to review – I am not the biggest Oud fan and Tom Ford’s range has been a mixed bag for me. And I was hesitant to even buy this formula as it was a risk but given the raving that people have about it, my curiosity overcame me. And after all I cannot complain. Initially I didn’t have the right amount of Cypriol and mixed it with about ⅓ only of the amount needed until I could restock. And I can recommend you try that, too as a start. Adding the remaining amount created a somewhat different perfume with indeed a more pronounced feeling of Oud rather than pure patchouli. In the end, I know that this is not a daily wear for me but is also definitely not something I dislike or regret buying.
