This is one of the most unusual irises out there that was ever composed and by none other but Ralf Schwieger who is known to have a sense of humor and always makes something special with his perfumes (see Lipstick Rose). What is particularly interesting here is that this iris is absolutely devoid of any floral notes – it is woody, rooty, and dusty even more so than Iris Silver Mist or La Pausa. It is possible that the original was using some of the higher grades materials such as ISO gamma which is why it is difficult to get to the penetrating quality of the original but the character is here in this formula!
