One of the things about Habanita is that it is a classic. The beautiful thing about classics is that they transport you to a different age and time. The bad thing is that they transport you to a different age and time. Habanita for me is one of those perfumes that I would definitely not wear on a daily basis – probably not even once a month. But it is a masterful balance between the sweet vanilla and bitter vetiver – it is hard to maintain the balance and yet here it is done very well. An important study in the history of amber woody perfumes.
