I am not deeply into the Amouage brand, history, and range so my assessment of this is only partially informed but I was curious about the formula reading the notes and wanted to explore the range here. (Imitation is one of their perfumes that I do know and like). Boundless is a mellow smooth vanillic and balsamic fragrance that to my nose smells as something that wants to appeal to the masses. It does not feel strongly odd or eccentric. This is not bad per se but it doesn’t excite me as much as I was hoping. That’s ok as one does not need to shock every day. Very well blended.

I don’t own the original, so I don’t know how close to the original this formula is, but after maturation, this is nice, smoky, chocolaty, slightly sweet tobacco.
