Arabie was inspired by eastern spice shops; it is an exquisitely warm spicy fragrance, dense and sweet from aromatic resins, temperamental, sunny, yet mysterious like East itself. Precious notes of cedar and sandal blend in with sweet notes of candied mandarin, dried fig and date. Nutmeg, cumin and clove at the heart pervade the composition with hot spicy notes. Aromatic bay-leaf, harsh and pleasant, joins the spices, dwelling in dense resin waves of Tonka, Siamese benzoina and myrrh. The final accord of labdanum joins aromatic opulence into a harmonic wholeness.

One of the weirdest SL perfumes out there – it is on the borderline between being edible and being totally unwearable and for sure not as a signature or daily perfume. It is an elegant thing that you can wear wonderfully for a dinner party but not of the glamorous elegant type (at least not in Italy or France but perfectly acceptable in India and Middle East). It is a fantastic powerful balsamic fruity and spicy candied perfume. This is a very good formula – very complex and including tons of various naturals including rare tobacco absolute but it is very well balanced. Wonderful, unique, and thrilling!
